New MD of ACI Pure Flour, ACI Foods

Mr. Syed Alamgir has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of ACI Pure Flour Limited and ACI Foods Limited.

Mr. Alamgir has been with ACI Limited for the last 19 years. He is also the Managing Director of ACI Salt Limited, said a statement.

On completion of his MBA from IBA, Mr. Alamgir started his career in a multinational pharmaceutical company May & Baker Ltd (now Sanofi Aventis). He also worked as Group Marketing Director of Jamuna Group for 6 years, prior to his tenure at ACI.

Mr. Alamgir is a renowned marketing professional responsible for creating many brands. His work on 100 per cent Halal Soap was hugely appreciated. This example has been mentioned by Professor Philip Kotler in his textbook, 'Principles of Marketing'.
