Launching Program of Daedong Products

ACI Motors introduced "Combine Harvester" and "Rice Transplanter" modern farming machineries by South Korea based Daedong to local market recently. The products was launched at an inaugural function atACI Center in the city on Wednesday, said a press release. Dr. Wais Kabir, executive chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), formally inaugurated the product.

The machine will save 80 percent costs and 85 percent of time in transplanting and harvesting crops, the news release said.

DK Kim, sales manager of Daedong , shared his experience and brief about these modern farming technologies.

Dr. Arif Dowla, managing director of ACI Ltd, Dr. F H Ansarey, executive director of Agribusinesses, Dr. Kh. Helal Uddin, Business director of agribusinesses division of ACI, Subrata Ranjan Das, business manager of ACI Motors, Md. Habibur Rahman, director general, Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Mondal, director general of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute(BARI) were also present on the occasion.

Speakers at the function expressed their deliberations on importance and necessity of rice transplanter and combine harvester in the country's agricultural sector.
