Launching of YANMAR AGRO TECH in Bangladesh
ACI Motors had signed an agreement with world renowned Japanese company “YANMAR” in 2018. In accordance with that agreement, both the companies are working together to develop the agriculture sector of Bangladesh by introducing and developing new technologies. Hence, ACI Motors had Launched Yanmar Agrotech officially in Bangladesh on 19 June 2019 at the ballroom of InterContinental Dhaka.
Launching program of Yanmar Agrotech was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Agriculture, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. He praised both ACI and Yanmar for their initiative to increase the productivity and income of the farmers by bringing in high technological development in Agricultural Sector of Bangladesh.
Mr. Hiroyasu Izumi, Ambassador, Japan Embassy in Bangladesh and Mr. Hiroaki Kitaoka, President, YANMAR Agribusiness CO. LTD, Japan were present as the Special Guests.
Mr. M. Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Limited, Dr. Arif Dowla, Managing Director, ACI Limited, Dr. F H Ansarey, Managing Director, ACI Motors Ltd. and Mr. Subrata Ranjan Das, Executive Director of ACI Motors were also present at the occasion, along with higher officials of Yanmar, customers of Yanmar combine harvester and rice transplanter and other members of ACI Motors.
This advanced sensor type Yanmar Combine Harvester is suitable for the land and paddy of Bangladesh. It enables farmers to cut the paddy of muddy land and also lodged paddy. In addition, it consumes only 7-8 liters of Diesel per acre. This harvester can save 61% cost and 71% labour.
By using “Yanmar Rice Transplanter”, farmers can transplant rice seedling in 50 decimals of land within 1 hour and 5 liters of petrol is needed for this purpose. Rice transplanter can save 37% cost and 81% labour.
