Inauguration of Freedom Women Hygiene & Nutrition Centre at DITF 2018

Freedom Sanitary Napkin has set up a Women Hygiene & Nutrition Centre at Dhaka International Trade Fair 2018. Every year more than 5 million people visit the fair, where majority of the visitors are female and children. Many a times people might need some emergency check-ups while visiting the fair; thus, in order to cater that demand, Freedom has taken a step to provide such service. Here, visitors will get free health check-ups and nutrition advice from doctors where they are also given knowledge on menstruation along with Freedom samples. Mothers are also welcome to feed their infants and get sample packs of Savlon Twinkle Baby Diaper and stroll in the fair tension free.

The centre was inaugurated, in the presence of journalists, through a ceremony by Honorable Deputy Speaker, Bangladesh Parliament, Md. Fazle Rabbi Miah; Md. Quamrul Hassan – Business Director, ACI Consumer Brands and Khandaker Ishtiak Ahmed - Marketing Manager, ACI Hygiene Products. Other high officials from EPB and ACI Hygiene Team were also present. Talks during the inauguration included different initiatives that are being taken to increase health and hygiene awareness among the women of Bangladesh and how to overcome the biggest challenges that are being faced in the area.
