ICAB has awarded ACI Limited for Best Presented Annual Reports–2016

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) has awarded Advanced Chemical Industries Limited in the "Diversified Holdings" Category with the "Certificate of Merit" in the 17th ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Reports–2016.

Finance Director of ACI Limited, Mr. Monir Hossain Khan received this award from the Honorable Finance Minister AMA Muhith in 25 November 2017.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed presented the awards to 13 different categories consisting of banks, financial services, insurance companies, manufacturing, ICT, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), public sector entities, agriculture, service sector, corporate governance, integrated reporting and diversified holdings for their best presented annual reports 2016 at aprogramme at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.

Chairman of Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Chairman Mr. CQK Mustaq Ahmed, Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh Masud Ahmed and Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission Chairman Prof. Dr. M Khairul Hossain were present as guests of honour.

The ICAB, which has been presenting the recognition since 2001, follows evaluation criteria of the SAFA to appraise the annual reports further reviewed by 'A Six-Member Jury Board',

This is also mentionable that his year ICAB introduced a new category 'Excellence in diversified Holdings.
