Agreement signed between Foton Motor Group & ACI Motors

ACI Motors is the country’s largest distributor of agricultural machineries and equipments. Beside, ACI Motors deals with heavy construction equipments and YAMAHA Motorcycles.

ACI Motors Ltd. is working for long a time to change the lifestyle of the people of Bangladesh. To enhance the growth of Bangladesh’s developing economy sector, commercial vehicle plays very important role. To be the part of this growing industry, ACI Motors has introduced China’s No.1 commercial vehicle brand FOTON.

FOTON commercial vehicle is a concern of FOTON Motor Group and is operating as world leading manufacturer in 110 countries around the globe.

On 27th August 2018 an agreement was signed between ACI Motors Ltd. and FOTON Motor Group on having exclusive dealership and local assembling (CKD) of Foton Motor in Bangladesh. By signing this agreement, ACI Motors has become the sole distributor of a wide range of commercial vehicle of Foton like, pick up Van, Double Cabin Pick-up, School Van, Dump Truck, Transit Mixer, Bulk Cement Carrier, Fire Service Vehicle, Cleaning Vehicle, Heavy Crane etc.

The agreement was signed by Dr. F H Ansarey, Managing Director and CEO, ACI Motors Ltd. on behalf ACI Motors and Mr. David Lee, Executive Vice President, South Asia on behalf of FOTON Motor Group at the ACI Centre, Head office of ACI Motors.

This event was graced by the Chief Guest Mr. Kazi M. Aminul Islam, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). He said in his deliver “The investment would help develop the private sector. I hope Ftoton’s entry into the country will help Bangladesh adopt new technologies and business knowledge.”

Mr. Chang Rui, President, FOTON International, FOTON Motor Group told “The market for commercial vehicles in Bangladesh is very potential as the demand is increasing in line with the country’s consistent economic growth.”

“ACI Motors believes that this partnerships will enable it to grab 10 percent of the market of commercial vehicles within the next three years” according to Mr. Subrata Ranjan Das, Executive Director, ACI Motors.

Other higher officials of ACI Motors and FOTON Motor Group were also present.
