ACI Motors inaugurated Yamaha CKD Factory

ACI Motors Limited is the only distributor of Yamaha motorcycle in Bangladesh. Recently ACI Motors had established Yamaha Motorcycle CKD Assembly Factory at Borochala, Sreepur, Gazipur with annual production capacity of 60,000 units.

On 11th May 2019, this factory has been inaugurated at Borochala through video conference. Yamaha Motorcycle CKD Assembly Factory has been established by the direct collaboration of Yamaha Japan and the necessary equipment and technical supports are supplied by Yamaha Japan to ensure the quality in every stage of manufacturing. So the quality of motorcycle of Bangladesh, India and Japan will be the same and Bangladesh will be able to supply the high quality motorcycles. Government policy has supported positively to establish this factory.

Mr. Salman F Rahman MP, Ministry of Private Industry & Investment Advisor to Prime Minister, Govt. People Republic of Bangladesh was present at the program as chief guest and Mr. Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP, Ministry of Industry, Govt. People Republic of Bangladesh; Mr Kazi M. Aminul Islam, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Mr Yasutaka Suzuki, Executive General Manager, YAMAHA Motor Corporation as special guest. M Anis ud Dowla, Chairman, ACI Group of companies was present as the chairman of this event. Also, Dr. Arif Dowla, Group Managing Director, ACI Ltd.; Dr. F H Ansarey, Managing Director; Mr Subrata Ranjan Das, Executive Director, ACI Motors and other high officials of ACI Motors was present there.
