New generation farmers’ families are no more interested in traditional cultivation process and so are shifting to more mechanised system to grow crops as the latter is much convenient, time-saving and cost-effective. They consider that complete farm mechanisation is the only solution and as a result, already more than 90 percent of the cultivation has been completely mechanised through massive use tractors and power tillers. Tractors now have attained more preference of farmers all over Bangladesh not only because of more depth of plough, also for being cost-effective and time efficient that ensures that farmer’s return of investment is high for this tool. Some may add, “Tractor is the driving force of rural economy.” A recent study shows, Bangladesh has 1/50th of World Population and 1/3000th of World’s Land. But the labor is shifted to industrial sector due to drudgery of agricultural works. In view of commencing an assembly line of agricultural machineries and implements in near future, ACI Motors has launched a new variety of Sonalika Tractor to their vast product range. The model, Sonalika DI 50 RX Deluxe consists of power steering, oil immersed brake and single acting hydraulic line that allows operators feel comfort in long time cultivation ensuring that cultivation will be more precise in the corner areas of the land.
